Centlemen:
This refars to the inspection conducted by Mr. F. Jape of this office on
January 17-19, 1973, and January 29-30, 1973, of the activities authorized
by AEC Construction Permit No. CPPR-34 for the Cconee 2 facility, and to the
discussions held with Mr. J. W. Hampton and other me=bers of your staff at
the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection included a general review of the test.ing
program, administrative controls for the preoperaticnal testing program, pre-
operational test procedures and the functioning and organization of the Station
Review Cc==ittee and the Nuclear Safet'/ Review Cc=mittee.
Within these areas,
the inspection consisted of selective exa inatien of procedures and represen-
tative records, interviews with plant personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
No violations or safety items were identified within the scope of this
inspection.

Section 2.790 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10 Code of
