This letter is to confirm conditions discussed by telephone to be met for a reduction in the 24 hour2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> minimum requirement associated with the integrated leakage test recently performed on the Oconee Unit 1 containment. We advised K. S. Canady by telephone on July 23, 1971, that a minimum test duration of 10 hours1.157407e-4 days <br />0.00278 hours <br />1.653439e-5 weeks <br />3.805e-6 months <br /> would be acceptable provided the following conditions were met:
1.
All test conditions must be similar to those used in previous tests which have indicated the adequacy of a shorter test duration.
2.
When the test is terminated the pressure must have stabilized and not be increasing.
In a followup call on July 26, 1971, we discussed with you differences in the proposed Oconee test which we concluded were not significant changes from previoc tests and indicated that the minimum test duration of 10 hours1.157407e-4 days <br />0.00278 hours <br />1.653439e-5 weeks <br />3.805e-6 months <br /> could be applied to both the partial and full pressure test.
