on July 10-12 and 16, 1974, of the facility physical protection program
authorized under AEC License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47 and AEC Construction
Fermit No. CPPR-35.
This refers also to the" discussions held by Mr. Joyner

with Mr. J. E. Smith and other members of your staff at the conclusion
of the inspection.
The area examined during this incpection was your physical protection
program and its implementation at Oconee 1, 2 and 3.
Within this area,
the inspection consisted of selective c:aminations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with plant personnel and observations
by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were disclosed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the AEC's " Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the
findings of your safeguards and security measures is exempt from public
disclosure; therefore, the inspection report will not be placed in the
Public Document Room and will receive limited internal distribution.
Should you have any questions concerning this letter, we will be glad to
