DUKE POWER COMPMiY OCONEE NUCLEltR STATION OPERATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM Reply to Request for Additional Information Mr. A. Schwencer's letter of July 11, 1973, to Mr. A. C. Thies transmitted a request for additional information regarding the Oconce Nuclear Station operational quality assurance program.
The following tabulation responds to each of the items contained in the above-mentioned letter and provides the information requested.

The responsibilities, authorities and duties for establishing and imple-menting quality assurance policies are described in the attached cor-respondence of Mr. B. B. Parker, Executive Vice President and General Manager, dated December 29, 1972; and Mr. W. S. Lee, Corporate Quality Assurance Manager, dated May 17, 1973; and attached job classifications applicable to:
(a) Corporate Quality Assurance Manager (b) Manager, Quality Assurance, Steam Production (See Figure 5-3)
(c) Nuclear Station Quality Assurance Engineer, Steam Production Depart-ment (See Figure 5-4)
The " Administrative Policy Manual for Operational Quality Assurance of Nuclear Stations" issued for implementation December 15, 1972, revised February 16, 1973, and March 14, 1973, is being further revised for Laplementation January 1,1974 to incorporate the attached information and other editorial changes and program improvements.
