Gentlemen:
This refers to the investigation conducted by Richard K. Herr and R. Collins
of the Region IV office during the period January 28-30, 1980, of activities
authorized by NRC Operating License No. OPR-34 for the Fort St. Vrain
Station, concerning allegations addressed in telephone call to the NRC.
The investigation and our findings-are discussed in the enclosed investiga-
tion report.
No items of noncompliance or deviations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of findings of your
control and accounting procedures for safegurading special nuclear materials
and your facility security procet res are exempt from disclosure; therefore,
the investigation report will not be placed in the Public Document Room
and will receive limited distribution.
