e Attachment To LER 80-25/OlT Beaver Valley Power Station Duquesne Light Company Docket No. 50-334 Event Description And Probable Consequencesof the tank and a reinforcing pad external to the tank is fillet welded.

(See attached drawing of one 12" penetration).

The stress analysis for the "as found" weld has not yet been completed so no probable consequerces can be advanced. The results of this analysis will be identified in a followup report.

Cause Description And Corrective ActionsDemineralized Water Storage Tank [WT-TK-10], Boron Recovery Test Tanks [BR-TK-2A]

and [BR-TK-2B], Coolant Recovery Tanks (BR-TK-4A] and [BR-TK-4B] and Primary Water Storage Tanks (BR-TK-6A] and [BR-TK-6B].

At the present time, Demineralized Water Storage Tank [WT-T:(-10] will be it.spected and repaired, if found to need it.

There is no program at the present time to test any of the non-safety related tanks.

Beaver Valley Onsite Engineering Group and a construction service crew will make all necessary repairs. No time frame for completion of the inspections has been set as of this date.
