APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION
, Georgia Power Company License Nos. DPR-57 Ifatch NPF-5 Based on the NRC inspection January 8-11, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. There items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Technical Specification 6.8.1.c, written procedures sliall be established, implemented and maintained, covering the activities concerning surveillance and test of safety-related equipment.
1.
Sections F and G of KNP-1-3351-E, Fire Pump Test, require system restoration in accordance with the instruction in step J.3 which requires recording fuel levels on data sheet I for fire pumps 2 and 3.
Contrary to the above, the fuel 1cvels were not recorded on the data sheet for fire pumps 2 and 3, on February 15, 1979, June 26, 1979, July 29, 1979, August 14, 1979, September 17, 1979 and October 8, 1979.

Section D of IINP-831, Technical Specifications Surveillance Program, states that each department head is responsible for performing required surveillance described on an assignment sheet. The assignment sheet, as well as the surveillance master computer list, specifies that llNP-2-9203, Tip Normalization, shall be performed monthly to implement Technical Specification 4.3.6.6.
Contrary to the above, the instructions of KNP-2-9203 were not imple-mented between January 1979 and December 1979. llorever, a computer code was utilized to satisfy the requirement without changing the assignment sheet to reflect this method of operation.
This is a deficiency.
