The following is offered as a response to the NRC Inspection Report Numbers 50-321/80-01 and 50-366/80-01 concerning item of noncompliance 321/80-01-02, 366/80-01-02; deficiency:
321/80-01-02 HNP-1-3351-E, Fire P' ump Test e
Data Sheet 1 of HNP-1-3351-E was revised on 1-18-80 to relocate the requirement for fire pump fuel tank level checks on the data sheet as " System Restoration" Step J.3.
This step requires fuel tank level checks for both diesel fire pumps and a " sign off" for each level check. Relocation of this requirement on the data sheet will prevent future problems.
Full compliance has been achieved.
366/80-01-02 HNP-831, Technical Specification Surveillance Program e
The assignment sheet specified in HNP-831 has been revised to assign the use of procedure HNP-2-9503 instead of HNP-2-9203 to comply with Technical Specifications 4.3.6.6.
The latest revision to HNP-2-9503 includes the frequency requirement and a data sheet.
Similar changes have also been completed on Hatch 1.
This corrective action will prevent future occurrences.
