Dear Chris:
On March 21, 1980, Bruce Mann communicated to Dan Garner a request for certain documents. My transmittals of March 25 and 26 should be respon-sive to his request for documents relating to the Crystal River event.
With respect to his request for documents relating to the studies mentioned in A.11 (p. 8) of Mr. Wing's testimony, Mr. Wing advises me that he is aware of no other documentation than NUREG-0660 itself, a copy of which you have. The studies are still only in the " planned" stage.
With respect to his request for documents relating to Task B-24 on venting and purging while at power (as cited in Mr. Wing's testimony at page 7),

With respect to his request for a copy of IEEE, 352-1975, "IEEE Guide for General Principles of Reliability Analysis of Nuclear Power Generating Station Protective Systems" (cited on p. 6 of Mr. Thatcher's testimony on Board Question 16), IEEE documents are subject to copyright and cannot be reproduced without consent. In response to Mr. Mann's final request, enclosed is a copy of SMUD's January 7,1980 letter to the Staff regarding implementation of NUREG-0578.
