The licensee's evaluation of the subject weld cracking and related corrective measures being taken to resolve the problem appear to be satisfactory. However, with reference to the field acceptance inspection program, the engineering evaluation intended relative-to the classification of defects found is not clear.
In view of the ostensive delayed-cracking inherent to welding T-1 class steels, all linear disposed defects disclosed by dye-penetrant inspection
