Enclosed are three (3) executed originals and nine-teen (19) conformed copies of Amendment No. 5 to the Construc-tion Permit Application for our Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant - Units 3 & 4.
Also enclosed are an additional eighty-one (81) copies of each for updating the balance of the copies of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report filed with the original Application.

In'ormation, and Technical Qualifications.
The Florida Power Corporation has completed its evalua-tion and negotiations on Unit 4.
The decision has been made that Unit 4 will not be constructed on the originally applied for schedule.
Revised pages necessary to delete references to Unit 4 from the Volume titled " Application for Licenses" and to delete technical references to Unit 4 from the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report Volumes are also included in Amendment No. 5.
Due to the limited distribution of the " Application for Licenses" Volume the revision pages are submitted in two (2) packets, one containing pages for the " Application" Volume only and one with the revised pages to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report Volumes.
