Subject:
Crystal River Plant - Unit #3 Docket No. 50-302
Dear Mr. Kruesi:
On January 5,1973, Florida Power Corporation advised the DR0 Region II office of our possible involvement in a situation which could be considered reportable under Federal Regulation 10 CFR50.55(e).
This situation involved incomplete documentation in the weld filler material records for steam generators fabricated by the Babcock &
Wilcox Company.
A report on the investigation of these records was submitted to the Atomic Energy Commission by B&W during a meeting on this subject in Bethesda, Maryland, on Tuesday, January 30, 1973. A copy of the report, BAW-1402, identifying our involvement will be maintained at the Crystal River Unit #3 site.
Please advise if further information on this matter is required.
Very truly yours, FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION
