Identification of occurrence:
The sampling ef fort for the matsh grass metabolisa-(producti-vity and respiration) studies was not completed within the first quarter sampling deadline.

Description of Occurrence:
The first quarter sampling deadline for CR #3 ETS nonradiologi-cal surveillance c(uarterly sampling was May 9,1977. The con-tractor (University of Florida) who is conducting the marsh maitabolism phase of the ETS studies over-ran this deadline by three days (sampling was completed on May 12, 1977).

Designation of ;pparent. Cause of Occurrence:
Inability of the contractor to obtain certain components prior to 9 May 1977 for the sampling instrumentation was the cause of the delay.

Corrective Actic.' to Preclude Recurrence:
Inasmuch as parts are now installed, recurrence is not antici-paced.
