Based on the NRC inspection October 15-17, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.

As required by Criterion V of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 and implemented by Hatch QA Manual Section 5, " Activities affecting quality shall be prescribed i
by documented instructions, procedures...and shall be accomplished in accordance with those instructions, procedures...".
Paragraph E of Hatch procedure HNP-1-10124 requires piping surveillance teams to document. limen-sional discrepancies between as-built conditions and drawings by marking up the drawings.
Contrary to the above, the following dimensional discrepancies were either not documented or improperly documented on the marked up drawings:
1.
An 18-feet 11-inch dimension between data point 105 and the tee next to valve F049 on isometric drawing E41-102 is actually approximately l
15-feet 11-inches as-built.

Hanger H9 shown on isometric drawing E41-102 as 5-feet 8-inches from l
data point 70 and on the far side of an expansion joint is actually approximately 3-feet from data point 70 and on the near side of the expansion joint.
3.
Snubber M23 shown on isometric drawing E51-103 attached to an 8-inch tee is actually attached to a spoolpiece approximately one (1) foot from the tee.
4.
An existing small diameter branch line was not shown on isometric drawing E51-103 between data points 20 and 30. The location marked up on the drawing by the surveillance team is approximately 4-feet from I
the actual location.
This is an infraction.
