SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2 - CONTROL ROD DROP EVDITS -

NCR NEB 79 SECOND INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector F. S. Cantrell on November 19, 1979, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e).

An interim report was submitted on December 17, 1979.

Westinghouse is continuing its investigation of this nonconformance on a generic basis. We expect to submit our next report on this issue by June 13, 1980.
