NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS ,

March, 1980 -

There were two (2) manual scrams, one (1) manual shutdown r and nine (9) controlled power reductions in the month of ,

March. '

The following safety-related maintenance was performed in March:

1. Rebuilt the Boron Thermal Regeneration System (BTRS) chiller heat exchanger outlet valve.
2. Rebuilt the letdown heat exchanger outlet relief valve.
3. Replaced seals on lA and 1B Boron Injection Tank l (BIT) recirculation pumps.
4. Rebuilt both Boric Acid Transfer pumps. l S. Rebuilt 1-2A diesel air compressor unloader valve.
6. Repaired 1C charging pump auxiliary lube oil pump.

7. Replaced gears on 1B charging pump auxiliary lube ,

oil pump.

8. Installed vibration measuring instrumentation on 1B charging pump. '
