Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 Short-term Lessons Learned Recommendations
Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter supplements Florida Power Corporation's letter of Janu-ary 11,1980 concerning the implementation of the NUREG-0578 Lessons Learned Recommendations.
In our January 11, 1980, communication to you, Florida Power Corporation committed to hot leg vents and included, as Attachment 4 to that commun-ication, B&W report entitled "177 High Point Vent Design Criteria".
In addition to the hot leg vents previously committed to, FPC will in-stall a remotely operable reactor vessel head vent at CR-3.
The design will be similar to that which was described for the hot leg vents in our "05000302/LER-1979-109-03, /03L-0:on 791221,following Reactor Trip,Chem/Rod Sampling Showed Reactor Coolant Dose Equivalent I-131 Exceeded 1.0 Uci Per G Contrary to Tech Specs.Caused by Leaking Fuel Pins & [[Atomic Element" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid.
