In accordance with your application dated October 22, 1979, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Item 78 of Special Nuclear Material License No. SNM-1227 is hereby amended to read as follows:

78.

Plutonium (1).0ne milligram and not more than 1.5 millicuries as contained in sealed sources and/or samples for analytical purposes.

(2) 125 kilograms of which at least 115 kilograms shall be in encapsulated form as specified in the 11censee's applications dated September 7,1972, and February 5, 1974. The plutonium shall be as oxide except for 100 grams in any form for analytical purposes.

This temporary increase-in the plutonia possession limit shall expire July 1,1980.-

All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
