Resident office space This refers to your December 20, 1979 response to the December 7,1979 NRC letter from Mr. Stello concerning resident inspector office space.
Based upon a January 15, 1980 telephone conversation between Mr. McCabe of this office and Mr. Carey of your staff, we understand that you will make the following space provisions for our resident office in addition to the 14' x 21' area currently provided.
1.
A secretarial space, adjacent to the present office, measuring at least 8' x 10' (interior dimensions), with floor to ceiling partitioning and a lockable door.
2.
Additional storage space in the form of a storage closet or an addition to the secretarial space.
3.
Office space, outside the resident office, for NRC inspection or investigation effort which is performed by personnel not assigned as resident inspectors at Beaver Valley Unit 1.
4.
Conference room space, outside the resident office, for periodic NRC meetings and conferences (to be scheduled in advance).
If our understanding of your planned actions as described above, is not in accordance with the actual plans and actions being implemented, please contact this office immediately.
