_2-The price contractor for the proposed decontamination is the Dow Chemical Company uith the actual decontanination work being subcontracted to Suntac :;uclear Corporation.

Dow has developed a proprietary solvent which has dencastrated a decontacination factor of 100 on contaninated sanples taken fron the Dresden 1 primary Lystem.

The decontamination of the prinary system will generate more than 100,003 gallons of chemical and radicactive waste.

This waste will have to be disposed of in a nanner that is environmentally acceptable.

Licensing approval vill be required to change the chenistry linits for the reactor vessel and the prinary coolant systen.

3.

Licensing changes will be requested to permit the temporary storage of an estimated 3000 Ci of corrosion products in above ground storage tanks.

Additional excaptions from the existing in-service inspection program nay be* requested for the Fall 1975 refueling outage.
