Dear Mr. Arnold:
The Conmission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 56 to Facility License No. DPR-49 for the Duane Arnold Energy Center. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications and is in response to your application dated May 21, 1976, as supplemented by letters dated October 12, 1977 and October 10, 1979.
This amendment changes th:. Technical Specifications for the thermal and pressurization limit: cions on the reactor coolant system to conform with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix G.
Copies of the related Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
