Dear Mr. Dunn:
We have completed our review of the revised ECCS analysis provided by your letter dated May 7,1979. The analysis was in response to our April 21,1978 Order for Modification of License relating to the Zirconium-Water error at the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No.1.
Our review of your revised ECCS analysis, which used the modified Westinghouse evaluation model approved by the NRC staff on August 29, 1978, verifies that the Beaver Valley ECCS as reanalyzed is in conforrance with the 10 CFR 50.46 criteria as required in our April 21,1978 Crder.
Our review is based on your total nuclear peaking factor (Lilimit of 2.32.
The NRC Order for Modification of License of Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No.1 dated April 21, 1978, has thus been satisfied and is hereby terminated.
A copy of our Safety Evaluation and Notice of Termination of Order for Modification are enclosed.
