BIG RCCK POIr NUCLEAR PC'a'IR P'lC PMICACTI7E EFFLUEC ?""ASE JULY - DECEGER 1979 1W i 8003050 JJ

This report provides infer =ation relating to radioactive effluent releases and solid radioactive vaste disposal operatiens of the 31g Rock Point Plant during the period of July through Dece=ber 1979 in the format centained in plant Technical Specification 6.9.3.

1.

Surele= ental Infomatien a.

3atch Releases Infor=ation relating to batch and centinuous releases of liquid and gaseous effluents is provided in Table 1.

b.

Abner:11 Releases No abnor=al releases of radioactive effluents to the enviren=ent occurred during the period.

2.

Gaseous Ef fluents Table 2a presents a su= nary of all gaseous radioactive effluents released during the period. Release totals for each radienuclide deter =ined to be present in gaseous effluents are centained in Table 2b.

Gaseous releases of I-133 and I-135 vere deter =ined frc= the ratics of =enthly short-lived halogen analyses to the weekly I 131 analyses. S e =axi=u= noble gas re-lease rate was 1.h6E+03 uci/second.

3 Licuid Effluents Table 3a presents a s"--a / of all liquid radicactive effluents released during the period. Release totals for each radiccuelide deter =ined to be d

present in liquid effluents are centained in Table 3b.

The max -"- ~^n-centration was 8.lhE-07 uCi/=2.

h.

Solid Waste Table k presents a su= nary of radicactive vaste shipped offsite fo" 5" d a' during the period. Total volu=e of solid vaste shipped offs'*a d"*dng the second six =cnths of 1979 was approxanately 1060 cubic feet. Ship =ent d

dates were 10-5-79,10-15-79,10-25-79,10-29-79,11-16-79 and 11-13-79
