APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Power Authority of the State of New York as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an Amendment to the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
The proposed changes to the James A.
FitzPatrick Technical Spec-ifications seek to augment the technical expertise of the Safety Review Committee by expanding its membership to include the Licensing Supervisor, the Principal Inservice Inspection Engineer and a Senior Nuclear Engineer - Staff and to alter the format of Section 6.5.2 to make it consistent with the General Electric Standard Boiling Water Reactors Technical Specification.
The proposed changes to the Technical Specifications are presented in Attachment I to this Application.
The Safety Evaluation is included in Attachment II.
