James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-333 Additional Members to the Safety Review Committee
Dear Sir:
Enclosed for filing are three (3) signed originals and nineteen (19) copies of a document entitled, " Application for Amendment to Operating License", and attachments thereto.
This application seeks to amend Section 6 of Appendix A of the Operating License to incorporate an expanded membership in the Safety Review Committee and to rewrite the SRC section into the format of the General Electric Standard Boiling Water Reactor Technical Specification.
In accordance with 10 CFR 5170.22, the Authority has classified this application as Class II because the requested amendment has no safety or environmental significance.
Therefore, as required by the regulation, enclosed is a check for $1,200 for the filing fee.
This payment is being made under protest and the Authority reserves the right to challange the validity of the imposition of these fees and the basis for the determination of the amount of the fees.
In support of this application we are enclosing forty (40) copies of the Safety Evaluation corresponding to the proposed Technical Specification changes.
