n/S Review Status: Inccuplete The applicant's analyses of the containment tenperature and pressure response to postulated min steam line breaks (MSLB) in the contaireent lower ccapartment were perfomed using the Westir, house Electric Corporation LOTIC-3 ice condenser containment code prior to completion of the NRC staff's review of the code.

During our review of the LOTIC-3 code, Westinghouse modified the code; consequently, the ficGuire MSLB analysis should be redone using the approved version of the code.

We have advised the applicant orally that his ItSLB analysis r.:ust be redone because of the changes made to the code. At the applicant's request we have prepared the enclosed request for additional infomation to define in writing the infomation we will need to complete our review of the McGuire t!aclear Station, Units 1 and 2 dith respect to the contairr cat taaperature and pressure response to certain postulated MSLB accidents.
