We have reviewed Mr. Brunner's nemorandus (undated} aal ;w.c concluded that Metropolitan 2dison Compa:ay should conduct sa

iihile we recotmire that Metropolitan Edison did not specifically er==ri t to perfona this test in their Es.G and that the cesign concepts could be proven adequate by prototype testing at a s4=41=r 34W facility (Oconee 2), we consider that a controlled test demonstrates the adequacy of the licensee's nethods and procedev for heMiing anticipated xenon oscillations and providas valuable aperience to the licensee's technical and operating staf f in the ham 1fng of these transients.
Accordingly, va believe it appropriate that RO:I advise the license 2 of our position on this mattar. We believe this completes the actic.:
