%.<.sp VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY DOCKET N0. 50-338 NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 1 FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE License No. NPF-4 Amendment No.15 1.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has found that:

A.

The application for amendmer,t by Virginia Electric and Power Company (licensee) dated September 11, 1979 complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Commission's regulations as set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.

The facility will operate in conformity with the license, as amended, the provisions of the Act, and the regulations of the Commission; C.

There is reasonable assurance (i) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conoucted in corpliance with the Comnission's regulations; D.

The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the common defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.

The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, the license is hereby amended as follows:

Revise condition 2.D.(3)p. to read as folicws:

The end of the current surveillance period for the Surveillance Requirements listed below :aay be extended be-yond the time limit specified by Technical Specification 4.0.2.a.

In each case, the required surveillance shall be completed by the revised aue date. After October 5,1979 the plant shall not be operated in Modes 1, 2,.3 or 4 until 1100 016 991oo40

. the Surveillance Requirements listed below have been completed. Upon accomplishment of the surveillance, the provisions of Technical Specification 4.0.2 : ahall apply.
