TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Enclosed is a copy of revised pages for the General Electric BWR Standard Technical Specifications. The enclosed pages supersede the corresponding pages in the copy of GE BWR Standard Technical Specifications that was given to Mr. L. Schuerman last September for use in preparation of Fermi 2 Technical Specifications.
As noted in our September 27, 1978 letter to you, a draft of the Fermi 2 Technical Specifications is scheduled to be transmitted to us by August 26, 1979. The updated GE BWR Standard Technical Specifications should be used in the preparation of the Fermi 2 Technical Specifications. Although we do not expect major revisions to the Standard Technical Specifications during the time Fermi 2 specifications are being prepared, some changes may be necessary.
If such cnanges occur, we will send you replacement pages for incorporation into the Fermi 2 Technical Specifications. A few months prior to the issuance of the operating license, we will restrict changes to the Fermi 2 Technical Specifications (except for the significant ones that would apply to operating boiling water reactors) to allnw adequate time for typing, proofreading, and printing of the final version of the specifications.
