The Conmission has issued the enclosed Amendment 40. 39 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-1 for tne Trojan Nuclear Plant.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your request dated September 28, 1978.
The amendment modifies the required action to be taken while penetration fire barriers are non-functional, adopts diesel fuel sampling requirements for the diesel-generator day tanks, and revises the diesel fuel sampling requirements for the other diesel fuel tanks.
Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enciosed.
