Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Your letter of 3/12/79 requesting action by South Carolina Electric &
Gas Company within sixty (60) days with regard to the subject IEB has been reviewed.
The design of the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station has been reviewed and it has been determined that ASME SA-312, type 304 or other welded (without filler metal) pipe manufactured by Youngstown Welding and Engineer-ing Company is not in use or planned for use in safety related systems.
