Thank you for your letter dated May 20, 1980, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the noncompliance identified in our letter dated April 26, 1980. We will examine your corrective action during a future inspection.
Regarding Item 3 of Appendix A and the Radiologic Control Committee's position and policy of permitting smoking, eating and drinking in labor-atories where low energy radionuclides (H-3 and C-14) are used, we will consider this an unresolved item; however, during our next inspection, we will do an extensive and comprehensive review in this area to deter-mine if the Radiologk Control Committee's policy appears to be in con-flict with NCRP Repen
