The application pertains to the addition of two companies for ownership interest in Catawba Unit No.1 (CPPR-116).
The application was not accompanied by a fee as required by 10 CFR Part 170. Applications for construction permit amendments and other approvals are subject to t'n fees specified in 10 CFR 170.22.
Section 170.12(c) requires that licensees make a fee determination and remit the determined fee with each application.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that your request requires a Class III fee of $4,000 because it involves consideration of financial and antitrust issues.
It is requested that your Company promptly remit the sum of 54,000 to this office.
If in the final review of your application by the ONRR staff it is determined that this fee is incorrect, an adjustment will be made.
