LICENSE FEES FOR POST PDA ACTIVITIES Your letter of January 17, 1979 regarding license fees for post PDA activities requested that we indicate the appropriate review category for submittal of our report NED0-24048, " Evaluation of Acoustic Pressure Loads on BWR/6 Internal Components", and all future submittals relating to the GESSAR PDA application.
Your letter also described three review categories available to us (PDA amendments, topical reports, or mis-cellaneous reports and letters) and the associated fee assessment for each.
We have reviewed the options available to us as outlined in your letter and have decided that the report NED0-24048 should be reviewed under the third category in which costs incurred are assessed to the FDA application.
To clarify our intentions for review of various documents submitted since the effective date of the fee schedule, we are providing the attached table.
Thank you for your letter providing the staff position on fee assessment.
