This letter is to advise you of the current pulse mode operating status of the Michigan State University TRIGA reactor.
As described in my letter dated 12/14/78, the log N channel of the control console strip chart recorder was repaired during December, 1978.
Subsequent problems were encountered ..ith the start-up channel and linear channel, necessitating repair work and further delaying our required pulse.
The start-up channel was repaired during January, 1979, but we were unable to repair a faulty relay in the linear channel until February 9,1979 Since all channels were working properly, we were able to pulse the reactor successfully on February 16, 1979. Thus we are once again in full compliance with our Technical Specifications. -
