NRC Inspection This refers to the inspection conducted by Ms. B. Riedlinger and Mr. F. Fong of this office on December 5-7, 1978 of activities authorized by NRC License No. 04-02579-04 and to the discussion of our findings held by Ms. Riedlinger with Dr. F. R. Buskirk, Dr. G. W. Rodeback, and Mr. S. Lambert of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and the conditions of your license.
The inspection c nsisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative re. cords, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspectors.
During this inspection, it was found that certain of your activitics appeared to be in noncompliarce with NRC requirements.
The items and references to the pertinent requirements are listed in the enclosure to this letter. These items have been categorized into levels as described in our correspondence to all NRC licensees dated December 31, 1974.
A copy of that letter is enclosed for your convenience.
This notice is sent to you pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.201, of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
