APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Alabama Power Company License No. CPPR-86 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on December 12-14, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as described below. These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
Criterion XVIII of 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, as implemented by the Farley Nuclear Plant FSAR Part 17.2.18, which states in part "...The objective of the audit system... identify program nonconformances; and verify the resolution of deficiencies and nonconformances".
The CORRECTIVE ACTION TAKEN area shall be completed after the audited / responsible organization has...A description of this correc-tive action shall be written in this area".
Contrary to Lne above, Audit Fieding Report (AFR) FNP-78-19-13, dated Ar:a i, 1978, was closed with only a statement indicating core..: tion of only one of several items addressed in the AFR.

This is a deficiency.
