Dear Mr. Reid:
This letter is in response to a request made by Mr. B. Grimes during a conference telephone call on December 23, 1978, between personnel from NRR, Region III and Toledo Edison, that we confirm certain com-nitments made during the telephone call.
We committed to develop the detailed engineering design of a steam generator dual levei setpoint for auxiliary feedwater control and to submit this design to you by February 21, 1979. We also committed to develop and submit, by this same date, a proposed schedule to implement this facility change and a written safety evaluation in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59, indicating our determination as to whether the proposed facility change would require a license amend-ment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3.
