Brown of this office on August 22, 1972 at Diamond Power Specialty Corporation, relating to con-struction activities authorized by AEC Construction Per:mit Hos. CPPR-40 and CPPR-66 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Brown with Mr.
J. r=1ral, of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
l Areas exami.mi during the inspection included the nondestructive testing techniques used to==4ne the " Control Rod Drive Motor Tube Estensions "
for hot tear discontinuities. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selettive * = 4n=tions of procedures and representative re:ords, interviews with plant personnel, and observations by our inspectcr.
No items of nonconformance were identified during this inspection.
