'1he Commission has requested the Office of the Federal Register to publish the enclosed Notice of Propcsed Issuance of Amendment to the Facility Operating License for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1.
The proposed amendment would revise the Technical Specifications to modify the operating limits based upon an eval-untion of ECCS performance calculated in accordance with the J.
acceptable evaluation model. The action proposed is in accordance with your application for amendment dated August 8, 197S.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation will be sent to you when it is completed and will be placed in the public record.
