- NOTICE OF P2OPOSED ISSUANCE OF M4END5 TENT TO F/sCILITY OPF.?J.T ING LICE:.'SE The Nuc1 car Regulatory Commission (the Commission) is considering the issuance of an amendment to Facility Ojacrating License No. DPR-50 issued to Metropolitan Edison Company, Jersey Central Power S Light Company and. Pennsylvania Electric Company (the licensces) for operation of the Three Mile Island Nucicar Station, Unit 1, a pressuri:cd water reactor, located in Dauphic County,. Pennsylv::nia, and currently authorized for operation at power levcis up to 2535 Mwt.
The anendment would revisc provisions in the Technical Specificatit as f n accordance with the licensec's application for license anendment dated t

August 8, 1975. The amendment wou1d modify operating limits in the Technical Specifications based upon an evaluation of T.CCS perforannee calculated in accordance with an acceptabic evaluation rodel that confo ms to the requirements of the Connission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 50, 5 56.16.
The acendment would modify various licits previously established in accordance with the Cccaission's Interim Acceptance Criteria, and wculd, with respect to Three "ile Island Unit 1, teminate the restrictions imposed by the Commissi.on's Deccaber 27, 1974 Order for Modification of License, and would impose instead, limitations established in accordance with the Co==ission's Acceptance Criteria for Emergency Core Cooling Systems for Light later Nuclear Power Reactors, 13 CFR Part 50, 5 50.46.
