ERRATA FOR TECilNICAL REPORT 79-2 APRIL-JUNE 1978 SEISMICITY NEAR 'IllE V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION The following corrections and additions are to be made to TR 79-2.
Report Summary, paragraph 1, line 9 "3.8" should be changed to "2.8".
Page 8, tabic 5 The distance for K3 =
.282 should be "R 2 4.8 km" instead of R 14.8 km.
Pag'e 20, paragraph 1, line 3 The following sentence should be added between " period" and " April".
"The number of unlocatable events observed at Site 1 during this report period increased dramatically, relative to previously observed rates, as a result of the doubling of the site gain (on 27 March 1978) and reduced traffic noise."
Page 20, paragraph 1, line 7 Place a "." after " events" and then insert the following text.
" Site 3 observed only about 95% of the events during April as it had during March.
In May and June, borever, it only observed about 90% of the events.
The high rate for Site 2 is unusual because it observed only 93% of the locatable events" Page 26, figure 8
~
The linear recurrence curve and equation fit to the cumulative data should be added to the figure.
The equation is " log N = 4.24 -1.40 DMAG".
