This is in reply to your letter, dated July 25, 1972. Your letter requested that we determine if Mr. Joseph J. Chwastyk, Jr.
would meet our cold sligibility requirements for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station.
We have determined that Mr. Chwastyk presently meets the eligi-bility requirements of Section 55.25(b) of 10 CFR Part 55.
However, we consider it highly desirable that he receive additional training involving control room operations at an operating facility, or simntator, comparable to the Three Mile Island Station. This consideratioa is based on the lengthy time period that has elapsed since he has participated in control room operations as indicated in his resume. Upon meeting the other requirements of Section 55.25 he will be eligible to be M-4=iatered a cold examination.
