I enclose a sumary of education, training, and experience for Mr. Joseph J. Chuastyk, Jr., who will be pronoted fron the classification of Control Roon operator - :Iuclear to the position of Shift Forenan, effective August 1, 1972.

In line with our current plannin' for all shift sunervisory personnel on both Units 1 and 2, ve would like ?fr. Chwastyk to sit for a cold senior Reactor Operator's License exanination.

Picase advise as to any additional requirenents which should be satisfied by !Ir. Chuastyk in order to qualify hin for cold licensing on Unit 1 and/or Unit 2.

Completed U.S. Navy's Basic Nuclear Power Course at Bainbridge, Maryland, consisting of 24 weeks of instruction in the following subjects related to nuclear engineering: Mathenatics, Classical and Nuclear Physics, Reactor Principles, Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow, Engineering Materials, Radiological Controls and Reactor Plant Technology.

Congleted operational training at the U.S. Navy's S1C Prototype, 91ndsor, Connecticut, covering 26 ueeks of qualification and application of nuclear theory to a nuclear power plant.

4.

Completed Met-Ed Conpany's Reactor Operator Training Progran covering Eealth Physics, Nuclear and Reactor Theory, Reactor Operations, Heat Transfer, Nuclear Instrunents and Controls, and Shielding. This course also included approxinately five startups on the Penn State TRIGA Reactor.
