ISSUANCE OF CONSTRUCTION PERMITS - JAMESPORT NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 The Nuclear Regulatory Cornission has issued Construction Permits Nos.
CPPR-175 and CPPR-176 to the Long Island Lighting Company and the New York State Electric and Gas Corporation. The construction permits authorize Long Island Lighting Company to construct two pressurized water nuclear reactors, designated as the Jamesport Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, to be located on the applicants' site in Suffolk County, New York.
Copies of the construction permits, along with a copy of a related notice which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, are enclosed.
