Your submittal does not adequately identify the design bases and criteria, safety guides and IEEE standards te be implemented in the design of this modification to the reactor prctection system. You are requested to address this issue.
2.
The " fail safe" characteristic of the current and potential transformers is not an acceptable alternative to seismic and environmental qualification of these components in the reactor safety system. Therefore you are requested to reconsider this aspect of your design and report what qualifications these transformers will have.
