APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Florida Power Corporation License No. DPR-72 Crystal River Based on the NRC inspection October 15-19, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.b, prompt notification with written followup is required for the operation of the unit or affected systems when any parameter or operation subject to a limiting condition for operation is less conservative than the least conservative aspect of the limiting condition f>r operation established in the Technical Specification.
Contrary to the above, prompt notification with written followup was not submitted on August 10, 1979 when it was determined that the unit had been operated with the spray additive system less conservative than the least conservative aspect of Technical Specification 3.6.2.2.
This is a deficiency.
