~

Pursuant to th reedom of information act)I respectfully ask that you send to me all the pertine teriais-~ reports and infornation regarding the systems for the disposal of Radio / ctive Wastes.

I am particularly interested in the precise technical methods the Radio Active y,aste water from the Three Mile Island Plant is being handled. How it is transferred from the contaminated Containment building into what receptacles...through what means of conveyance...into what ki d of containers and how and where they are shipped...and what is the procedure of these containers and their foods at the point of destination...how they are unloaded and what is dorewith the radio active waste natter.

In essence 1 om interested in every manne. s ~ operating procedure as to the disposal of all Radio active wastes. The different types of waste, their makeup and radiation levels, the methods of tmr.sfer, storage and/or disposal.

I am also interested in the specific detail: of how these hazardous materials are shipped in trucks and trains. Their method of convoy and the clearances and permits that must be obtained before they con pass through populated areas and the degree of danger. I saw recently on some News programs the fact that some of the tanker trucks where these rnaterials were ioaded had ruptured in transit.

I would be happy to pay reasonable costs in the procurement of this irSrmation.

Yours truly,

/

ge Gian Richard Cassarino
