SCHEDULE FOR TMI NEAR-TERM FOLLOWUP ACTIONS (McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2)

Our letter to you dated September 27, 1979 provided our present position on the status and applicability of the results of our near-term evaluation of the Three Mile Island Unit 2 accident as they relate to pending operating license appli-cations. to that letter provided a general schedule of implementa-tion of requirements for plants in the OL review process. to that letter provided a near-term emergency preparedness improvements implementation schedule.

In order to effectively utilize our available manpower and resources, we request that you provide us with a schedule for your appF ation amendment dealing with these implementation requirements for the McGuir Nuclear Station.

Please pro-vide this schedule no later than November 19, 1979.
