Although no specific reporting recuirements have been dete._ined, this letter

records have been tisplace:1. This situation was first discovered in March, 1975 and cinee that time a rather extensive ir.vestigation has been conducted

Physical searches have unfortunately failed to produce the rajority of the required decurents.

A detailed lis;ing of the nissing data is provided in Attach =ent 1 together with the action ve intend to take in each case of missing data.

You vill note that in sc:e cases ve vill n6t re-establich the missing baseline data while in othere the baseline data vill be re-established cither during the 197o refueling outage or over the forthec=ing 10 year period. The justification for this position is that Met-Ed has, er vill i

shortly receive, copics of the construction recer:Is for all cases of cissirs data. These recorde vill serve to verify that the original velds or components were cound.

In addition, for the : jority of cases of n.issing beceline data, the Pre-Exc=ination Final Repo-t (?O) indicates that baseline data was taken and revieveC appropriately and no defects vere indicated.
